No longer is it mandatory to fly victor airways, use ground based navigation aides, and use slide rule flight computers. This antiquated technology will soon be a thing of the past. The paperless cockpit is the way of the future.
The avionics, integrated autopilots, and complex systems installed in many private airplanes today are more advanced than in some airliners. This makes it extremely difficult for novice pilots to smoothly transition from old steam gage technology to such advanced systems.
In order to make the transition smoothly a well defined training program is mandatory, one that focuses on scenario-based training and real life situations. |

TAA Instruction has closed it's doors!
We provided flight and ground instruction specializing in Technologically Advanced Aircraft. (TAA)
Although most of TAA Instruction's training was performed in Cirrus aircraft all instructors are proficient in the operation of systems installed in older aircraft that have been upgraded to a TAA airplane.
